In July 2026, the OITP hosted a webinar to provide an overview of the OITP’s new live-in treatment standards. These standards establish a common clinical practice and operational standard for providing consistent, evidence-informed treatment and high-quality intensive services—beginning with live-in treatment—for children and youth experiencing significant mental health challenges within the future Regional Intensive Treatment Networks.
At maturity, the clinical and operational standards will work in tandem with the OITP clinical model to realize the vision that Ontario's children and youth with serious mental health needs have timely access to effective, inclusive, respectful, and individualized intensive treatment with family and community supports to enable their best futures.

They provide, respectively, an introduction to the format and structure of the OITP clinical and operational standards and supporting documentation, and one example of how a client could move through a Regional Intensive Treatment Network once the model is delivered at maturity.
